Job Description
Mine Tech Services (MTS) is a rapidly growing UK and Ukraine-based mining consultancy. We are a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and developers who pride ourselves on helping to solve the key challenges facing the world’s commodity production sustainably.
We are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our growing team. Based out of Ukraine, you will be responsible for working with the Product Owner to help the Software dev team streamline the development/business process.
Training and mentoring will be provided to develop the individual’s business domain knowledge as required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare sprints based on the items prioritised by the Product Owner and dev team capabilities.
- Keep bug fixing under control: i.e. when the bug is urgent - make sure it is prioritised by the dev team, and when resolved - communicate to the reporter.
- Update documentation as needed (i.e. User guide, Config doc, etc.)
- Be responsible for the tickets having clear requirements: Liaising with the reporter should clarification be needed and take ownership of updating the tickets.
- Be responsible for internal documentation: make sure that the changelog is up to date, each card ready for UAT has all necessary information for being tested, etc.
- Identify and communicate to the responsible manager when the development process is stuck or needs improvement.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks required, such as updating licenses, user lists, deploying site imagery etc..
- Scope out needs for developing/reporting etc., based on client needs.
- Make sure the development process is smooth and straightforward, clear to the development and business team.
Requirements
This is a broad role, and thus, we believe there are no specific qualifications required. However, at a minimum, we are looking for an individual with qualifications amp; experience in:
- Experience working on the edge between development and business teams
- Good English language skills.
- Understanding of agile methodology.
- Experience in Project Management role.
- Passionate about keeping things in order.
- Strong Soft skills (communication in particular).
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle.
- Willingness to travel if needed.
- Experience with Azure DevOps a nice to have, but full training will be provided
