What You Will Do:
- Collaborate on various open-source projects, including Apache HTTPD, Python, OpenSSL, and more.
- Backport security and bug fixes from newer upstream versions or develop patches from scratch.
- Contribute to upstream projects.
- Create reproducers and tests for vulnerabilities.
- Automate routine processes such as monitoring CVEs, applying patches, and testing.
Requirements
To be successful you should have;
- 5+ years of professional experience in C programming required
- Must be proficient in GNU/Linux operating system and shell scripting
- Strong ability to work with various build systems, including autotools, make, and cmake
- Prior experience with git-based development processes preferred
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Perl, or similar will be a valuable asset
