Subject to contract award, we are looking for Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing standard invoices, prepayments, and credit memos to effect payments and record expenditures. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions within our organization, directly contributing to the financial stability and compliance of our operations.
Requirements
These are the key things that you are responsible for delivering within your role. There will be activities and tasks in addition to this list that are expected from you but the majority of your time will be:
- Preparing and processing invoices, prepayments, and credit memos accurately and timely
- Examining source documents for completeness, accuracy, and validity of charges
- Creating and validating payment vouchers
- Verifying codes for income and expenditures and allocating them to appropriate accounts
- Ensuring compliance with Prevail Financial Rules and Regulations
- Coordinating with field and head office administrative/finance staff on finance matters
- Conducting account analysis and monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Performing other related duties as assigned
You:
You will have previous experience:
- Relevant experience in accounting work or bookkeeping, preferably in an international environment
- Professional fluency in English, Ukrainian, and Russian languages, both oral and written
- Computer literacy with practical experience in Microsoft applications; knowledge of ERP systems is desirable
- Completed secondary education, supplemented by specialised studies in Accountancy or Finance
