We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Recruiting who is ready to join our Lviv recruiting teams and help us take our phenomenal team to double its current headcount in 2021.

You will play an essential role in shaping and scaling our organization. From managing a team of executive recruiters to building efficient and dynamic recruiting processes to crafting a recognizable talent brand that magnetizes the best candidates around the world you will play a critical part in achieving our audacious mission. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have an opportunity to become a key element in the future success of Surprise.com.

• Building a widely recognizable talent brand that will attract top-tier technical and leadership talent for Surprise.com through bold marketing campaigns, active community engagement, and an unforgettable candidate experience;
• Managing the end-to-end recruiting process at the leadership and executive-level including partnering with hiring managers on position specifications, creating and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies, managing the interview process, assessing candidates' skills, experiences and attributes, and completing offer discussions;
• Developing a recruiting team culture that values hard work and perseverance in telling our story to a large number of candidates in a high-velocity environment, while maintaining a high bar for quality and culture fit;
• Mentoring your team to develop a deep understanding of each candidate’s leadership style, personal background, professional history, and specific fit to the role;
• Providing outstanding guidance to hiring managers to shape their talent needs to best match the needs of Surprise.com and the talent in the market;
• Developing and leading search strategies and engagements to position Surprise for success today and well into the future.

• Bachelor’s degree in a qualitative field that requires strong verbal and communication skills;
• 6+ years of experience in a staffing role at an IT company (product companies preferred);
• 3+ years of experience as the head of recruiting at an IT company (product companies preferred);
• Experience negotiating complex deals with savvy counterparties to create mutual value;
• Advanced English (C1) or better.

• Being an excellent communicator who can use compelling arguments to influence outcomes;
• Experience using data to identify opportunities and improve team performance;
• Advanced analytical skills and first-principles-based thinking.
