JavaScript Lead Engineer [BF]

As a Lead, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers to shepherd new content through the entire process of design, build, release, and analysis. You will utilize Cocos Creator to create and publish content, JavaScript to coordinate and interface with our client, and PHP for any functionality interfacing with our servers. Our games run cross-platform on iOS, Android, and the Web. Our highly collaborative engineering team comes from a wide range of backgrounds, so you'll have lots of opportunities for growth and learning. We’re always looking for creative technology solutions and driven leaders to push the envelope on what we can deliver to our players.

What you'll be doing:

• Take ownership of features across both client and server
• Collaborate with a team of engineers, artists, designers, and QA to deliver exciting new content and outstanding user experiences in our best-in-class social casino apps
• Release content every sprint and get immediate feedback from players as well as in-depth metrics on how your content is being used.
• Profile, identify and implement performance enhancements for our systems

Requirements

You are:

• An excellent critical thinker and problem solver, with demonstrated coding and analytical skills
• A team leader who can delegate while staying on top of both coding details and overall design.
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and a self-starter who's excited to bring engaging content to our players

Required Experience and Skills

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 4+ years professional experience in software development
• 3+ years of proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with the entire development life-cycle from gathering requirements to launching
• Lead a team of engineers

Bonus Points

• Working knowledge of PHP
• Experience programming for mobile devices on iOS and/or Android preferred
