We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Kyiv (Gulliver) and to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

What will you be doing?

• Providing full cycle accounts payable support;

• Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data;

• Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits;

• Processing outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures;

• Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted;

• Verifying and investigating discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements;

• Facilitating payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients;

• Generating reports detailing accounts payables status;

• Understanding expense accounts and cost centers;

• Understanding compliance issues around accounts payable processes (sales tax, etc.).

What are we looking for?

• Advanced English;

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience;

• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration;

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles;

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records;

• Knowledge of relevant accounting software;

• Proficient in data entry and management;

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel);

• Precise attention to detail.
