As our business is growing, new business units appeared, new offices are opened in other countries, we are expanding our team and are currently looking for a
Financial Analyst. If you are passionate about tech companies, interested in working with various countries, and willing to grow up within a team of professionals, this is a perfect match and must-apply role for you! WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Monitoring business performance, conducting plan vs. actual variance analysis;
- Assisting in preparation of monthly reports to management, proposing improvements, and coordinating automation of the existing process for selected sections;
- Researching the opportunities to improve data consistency in a reporting pack for management and move towards the hard close of a period;
- Reviewing selected sections of the annual statutory financial statements of the Group's companies in different locations: Malta, UK, USA, Brazil, China, etc.;
- Preparing financial data for financial models to support decision-making; collecting data for benchmarking;
- Providing financial information for tenders, questionnaires, and other requests from internal users;
- Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting; supporting the passing of external audit;
- Assisting in formalizing management reporting processes and documenting selected sections for key FPamp;A policies (management accounting policy, revenue policy, month-end closure policy, etc.)
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- 1-3 years of experience in Big4 or second-tier audit companies OR consulting (Big3 or smaller ones) OR as a financial analyst / financial controller / financial reporter at an IT company (candidates from other industries can also apply if they are interested in a finance career in IT) ;
- At least B2 level of English;
- Working knowledge of Excel (Oracle NetSuite would be a plus);
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task and solid time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks;
- Methodical approach and ability to improve existing or build new business processes;
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
